The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) Scheme was introduced to obligate larger suppliers to deliver energy efficiency measures to domestic premises in Britain.
The first phase of the scheme, referred to as ECO 1, ran from January 2013 to March 2015. The final report for ECO 1 has now been published by Ofgem and details the final determination of energy companies' achievement against their obligations. The final report can be read in full here.
The new obligation period, or ECO 2, is already underway and will run until 31st March 2017.
